Of course. And if we are all God's creation and loved equally by God, why don't so many humans not do the same??? I think a lot of it is fear of those who are different from us. Me? As a child I was taught to discriminate and hate those who were different by the Roman Catholic Church. I'm not sure what is being taught now. Fortunately, I became enlightened and was able to question what I had been taught, and I was able to leave behind the "single stories" which I had been taught. As a nurse, our Code of Ethics forbids discrimination, and as a Christian, we are also forbidden to treat others any differently than the way in which we would like to be treated (see The Sermon on The Mount, Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 5), or think about the fact that Jesus welcomed everybody, much to the chagrin of the religious leaders..

Peace.
